Novena of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
THE BREAKING OF THE HEART OF CHRIST (Friday after the Body and Blood of Christ)
- The celebration of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ is the celebration of God's love for people. The church was founded after the order given by our Saviour. Jesus invited Saint Margarita Maria Alakok and asked her to work to celebrate the celebration in honor of his Sacred Heart on the Friday after the Body and Blood of Christ. From its beginnings, this celebration, according to the will of the Redeemer, contains in itself the signs of reparation for the insults that are done to the most sacred heart, in a special way in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar. The Redeemer asks that Holy Communion be received on that day for as many communions as are received at meals and in an unworthy manner.
In many churches, the Blessed Sacrament is worshiped on that day, and in all churches, according to Pope Pius XI, the special prayer of reconciliation is prayed before the Blessed Sacrament.
Try to spend this celebration of sacrifice towards Divine love in the spirit of sacrifice and repentance. If you have the opportunity, prepare with nine days, good confession and taking communion in a spiritual way.

Your most holy and kind heart of Jesus, who with burning desire and burning love wants to remove the coldness and the lukewarm of our hearts, warm our heart and destroy the papersosmerity of my heart, so that it burns with love for you. Give me the grace to improve the ingratitude and insults that ungrateful people cause you.
