Rosary of Our Lady of Pompeii, Novena of Thanksgiving

This novena follows the request novena, which we have posted in another blog. After we have done the first part of the novena of Pompeii, that is, the novena of the request for 27 consecutive days for a single heart. We pray the second part, that is, the thanksgiving novena for another 27 days, to thank Our Lady for fulfilling (or who will fulfill us when the moment is right) our request.

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen!

Oh Lord, come and save me. Come in quickly and help me.

Here I am, at your knees, O Immaculate Mother of Jesus, who delights in the call of the Queen of the Rosary in the Meadow of Pompeii. With joy in my heart, with a heart full of living gratitude, I return to You. O my generous Charity, O sweet Lady, O Queen of my heart, in You, who have truly shown My Mother, the Mother who loves me so much. I was complaining, and You comforted me, I was worried and You comforted me; I was in my troubles and You gave me peace.

Pains of death surrounded my heart, and You, Mother, from the throne of Pompeii, with a look full of mercy you calmed me. Who has turned to You with faith and has not been fulfilled by You? Oh, if the whole world knew how good you are, how painful you are with those who suffer, oh how all creatures would turn to you! May you be forever blessed, O Virgin Ruler in Pompeii, by me and by all, by men and by angels, by earth and by Heaven. Amen!

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, it is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve, to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this wave of tears. Turn, then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus; O clement, O loving, O sweet virgin Mary.

The sorrowful mysteries

First sorrowful mystery: The Agony of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.

1 Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

10 Hail Mary, full of grace, Our Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother Of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

1 Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, it is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

I thank God and I thank you, O Divine Mother, for the new good things and for the mercy that you spread to me. What would have happened to me if you had rejected my complaints, my tears? May the Angels of Heaven, the choirs of the Apostles, the Martyrs, the Virgins, the Witnesses thank you for me. For me, thank you many souls of sinners who were saved by you and who are now in Heaven enjoying seeing your immortal beauty.

I would like all creatures to love you along with me, and for the whole world to repeat the echo of my thanks. What will I be able to do for You, O Queen, full of mercy and greatness? What names will I call You, O pure dove of peace? With what titles will I call You, so that the holy doctors will be called the Lady of Creation, the Gate of life, the Temple of God, the royal palace full of light, the Glory of the heavens, the Holy of saints, the Miracle of miracles, the Paradise of the Most High? You are the treasurer of graces, you are the Almighty who prays, you are the mercy of God who descends on the unfortunate. But I also know that it is sweet for your heart to be called Queen of the Rosary in the Land of Pompeii.
And calling you like this, I feel the sweetness of your mystical Name, O Rose of Paradise, planted in the meadow of tears to sweeten the worries of us in the desert, sons of Eve; Red rose of love, sweeter than all the fragrances of your Land, that with your fragrance of heavenly sweetness, draws the hearts of sinners to the Heart of God.
You are the Rose of eternal freshness, that watered by the streams of heavenly waters, put your roots in the dry earth from a rain of fire, Rose of a pure beauty, that in the place of abandonment planted the garden of God's miracles. May God be glorified, who made your Name so admirable. Bless her, O people, bless the Name of the Virgin of Pompeii, for the whole earth is full of her mercy. Amen!

Among the storms that surrounded me, I raised my eyes to You. O new Star of Hope that appeared in our days in this land of destruction. From the depth of my sorrows I raised my voice to You, O Queen of the Rosary of Pompeii, and I experienced the power of this title that You love so much. We pray, I always call you, we pray, O Mother of Mercy. Endless sea of grace, ocean of goodness and mercy! New glories of your Rosary, fresh victories of your Crown, who would sing them worthily? You, the world that leaves the arms of Jesus to be thrown into the arms of Satan, give health to this land in which Satan devoured human souls.

Repress, victorious, the remains of pagan temples and on the ruined remains of idolatry place the throne of your rule. You turned the wound of death into a land of rebirth and life and in the land that was ruled by your enemy you rooted the Citizen of Shelter, where all people are waiting for salvation. Here, your children scattered everywhere in the world, here a Throne will be raised, as a sign of your miracles, as a trophy of your mercies. You from this Throne called me also among your chosen sons on me the sinner cast your gaze full of mercy. May your works be blessed forever, O Lady, and may all the miracles done by you in this land of abandonment and destruction be blessed. Amen!

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, it is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Let your glory resound from every mouth, O Lady, and let the evening inherit our blessings from tomorrow's concert. All the people shall call you Blessed, and you, Blessed, and I repeat it with all the corners of the earth and with the heavenly rooms. Three times I will also call with the Angels, with the Archangels, with the Principalities, three times with the heavenly powers, with the Heavenly Virtues, with the supreme Dominions. You, the Blessed, I will preach with thrones, with Cherubim and Seraphim. O my sovereign Saviour, never leave your merciful eyes on this family, on this nation, on the whole Church. Above all, do not refuse me the greatest grace, so that my weakness may never separate me from You. In this faith and in this love, in which my heart burns in these moments, I want to continue until the moment when I take my last breath. And how many of us deal with the construction and growth of the Sanctuary of Pompeii, let us all be among the chosen ones.

O crown of the Rosary of my Mother, I hold you close to my heart and kiss you with reverence (here the personal crown is kissed...). You are the way to reach every virtue, the treasure of merits for Paradise, the guarantee for my salvation; the strong chain that binds the enemy, the source of life for those who honor you for being alive, the great hope of victory for those who kiss you in the hour of death. In that extreme hour I wait for you, O Mother, your appearance will be the sign of my salvation. Your Rosary will open the doors of Heaven for me. Amen!

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, it is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Pray for us, O Queen of the Holy Rosary
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen!

Let us pray: O God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who taught us to turn to You with faith and to call You: Our Father who art in heaven; well, good Lord, who is in the habit of always using mercy and praying, through the intercession of Our Lady Immaculate Mary, complete us, who are glorified with the title of sons of the Rosary. May our humble thanks be pleased for the gifts we have received; and the Throne that you raise in the Sanctuary of Pompeii, make every day more glorious and eternal, for the merits of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen!
